Extending beyond the office, Steve’s passion for helping others is also widely recognized. He is also a board director for the Fostering Leadership Academy, a charter school that provides individualized education, treatment, and leadership skills to children impacted by childhood trauma.

A little more about Steve…

When I reflect on a moment that I am proud of, I think of…

I think back to a handful of specific instances where we’ve advised on complicated deals that help our clients grow exponentially with a new development project, M&A or a fundraising round. These also are additive to the community and often create jobs right here too. Another is from my involvement as a board member at Fostering Leadership Academy and watching the growth they’ve experienced and how that reach allows them to impact more children.”

As I continue to grow, I am hopeful for…

Building relationships that transcend business, advising on projects that are additive to our communities, driving growth as an individual contributor and leader and more opportunities to live our core values in an even bigger way.

During my free time, I …

Coach my four-year-old son’s soccer team, dining out in Detroit and Metro Detroit with my family and friends, and coloring with my wife and son in the driveway and local park.

If I could give advice to my 20-year-old self, I would say…

Everything compounds. Making the right, small decisions every day, will lead to big moments.
