Rocket Mortgage Classic to Host Many Fan Experiences This Week

DETROIT June 26, 2023 ~ As the Rocket Mortgage Classic is set to tee off for the fifth consecutive year, the tournament will offer guests a number of enhanced fan experiences.

The tournament, which will take place from June 27-July 2 at the Detroit Golf Club, will feature unique areas open to all ticketholders, each with its own benefits for fans to enjoy the event in new ways. These will include viewing decks, celebrity appearances, and experiences for children.

The viewing decks will be open to all fans, offering a total of six viewing points throughout the golf course accessible without an upgraded ticket. Other course views and rest areas will be provided at the Craft Cocktail and Eagle Casino and Sports lounges. ADA accessible viewing locations and fan decks will also be provided.

(CONTINUED) Foodies and Fairways will highlight local businesses and eateries based just around the corner from Detroit Golf Club in the Livernois Business District. The Greyson Wolf Den will also offer fans the opportunity to check out the latest and greatest in golf fashion.

In addition to shopping and eating, the Rocket Mortgage AREA 313 Fan Challenge provides attendees the chance to feel the excitement of holes 14, 15, and 16. These feature a unique golf challenge for each of the three holes in the signature stretch on the tournament course.  

The Greater Detroit Youth Clinic will also provide elementary- and middle school-age students an opportunity to learn golf skills from PGA Tour professionals at 2 p.m. on June 27. Children attending the clinic will also get a chance to ask questions, interact with some of Detroit’s favorite sports mascots and win free prizes.  

At 5 p.m. on June 27, the Celebrity Scramble will pit six, four-player teams against each other in a three-hole exhibition match. PGA TOUR stars will captain each team and are grouped with celebrity athletes and entertainers.
