Foo Fighters are getting ready to release another single from their upcoming album “But Here We Are”.

The band posted a 25-second snippet to social media on Monday.

They didn’t reveal the song’s title, but the lyrics include “I woke up and walked a million miles today/ I’ve been looking up and down for you/ All this time it still feels just like yesterday/ That I walked a million miles with you”.

Expect the full song on Wednesday, May 17th. The album will be out on June 2nd.

“But Here We Are” is the band’s first album since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins last year.

The band calls the album “A brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year” – but also “A testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family”.

The first single from the album “Rescued”, was released in April and seemed to reference Hawkins’ death in its opening lines: “It came out of nowhere, it happened so fast… is this happening now?”

Bay Area fans can see the Foo Fighters perform at Outside Lands as they headline the festival on Saturday, August 12th.
